v1.1.18 (new): Points & monthly ranking (Phase A+B). Each activity earns difficulty-weighted points (phonics/grammar 2, vocab 4, story 3, sentence-typing 5, song 1, reading-aloud 5); the first 3 correct attempts score full, then reduced (story/sentence-typing never drop). Student home shows today / this-month points and the child's own rank only (A-plan). Needs Apps Script: a points column in Events + action=leaderboard.
v1.1.17 (fix): Phonics「なかま」quiz — the question word could appear as a choice, and distractors could be pulled from a same-sound group (e.g. ou/ow, er/ir) and wrongly marked incorrect. Now the answer excludes the prompt word, distractors come only from different-sound groups, all four options are unique, and the correct choice is always highlighted after answering.
v1.1.16 (new): Added 音読ヒント (Reading Aloud) in CLIL — the IGK Unit 3 hint card (PDF) is embedded so students look at the Japanese hint and say the English aloud (音読・暗唱). In the Student CLIL menu and CLIL Station C.
v1.1.15 (anti-cheat): Rapid repeated taps to inflate the activity count are no longer counted — records faster than a human answer pace (under ~1.2s apart, or 10+ in 20s) are ignored with a gentle "slow down" toast. Listening buttons were never counted, so re-listening is always free. Fixes count-gaming without a backend change.
v1.1.14 (new): Added New Horizon Song — memorize the textbook by singing it. Flow: ① Meaning → ② Typing (spelling-only) → ③ Sing (Suno MP3 / YouTube — add later) → ④ No Paper. Reuses Unit 3 text. In TOE Station C and the Student TOE menu. (Monthly Song = foreign pop songs will be a separate section.)
v1.1.13: ① Japanese Hint → English now grades spelling only — capitals, commas, ?, !, apostrophes and spaces are no longer marked (type the letters → ○). This is the recall/typing stage before notebook writing. ② Answer sounds made reliable on every app (iOS audio unlock on first tap): correct = ping, wrong = gentle buzz.
v1.1.12: Phonics er/ir sound fix — was mispronounced as "air/ar"; now plays the correct "ur" sound (er→earn, ir→urn). er/ir share the same vowel in English; a teacher-recorded MP3 is the path to a perfectly isolated sound.
v1.1.10 (fix): Fixed a script error that had frozen all Hub buttons since v1.1.8. Enable Sound / Answer Sound / Timer / Station buttons work again.
v1.1.11: Smoother typing for kids — full-width characters are auto-converted to half-width, apostrophe differences are accepted (avoids the iPad IME hassle). Capitalization & punctuation stay as gentle "Almost" hints (learning).
v1.1.9: Learning apps go back to the Student screen ("← もどる"), not the Hub. Hub always opens as Teacher Controller; Enable Sound & Answer Sound play a confirmation tone on tap.
Roles: Student = student.html only (own progress + apps). Teacher = this Hub (timer) + Teacher screen (progress & select). Admin = everything.
Stations: TOE — B: Story Order / C: Grammar Practice · Vocabulary Typing. CLIL Sound Coaching — B: Japanese Hint → English (No Paper) / C: Phonics. Station A is teacher-led.
Device Mode: Only the Teacher Controller device plays timer sounds; Student devices stay silent and follow the teacher's timer.
